This notice explains how the personal data of visitors to this website, and of people who write to me through the contact form, are processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

What data I process
Browsing data. Like any website, the systems that run this site record some technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser and device type. This data is used only to run the site and protect it from abuse, and not to identify visitors.
Data you send me. If you write to me through the contact form or by email, I process the data you choose to share: name, email address, subject and message.
Cookies. The site uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies for visit statistics and YouTube cookies to show videos. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
Why I process it and on what legal basis
- Replying to your requests (information about singing lessons, collaboration proposals, engagements): processing is necessary to act on your request before any agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Running the site and keeping it secure: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Visit statistics and YouTube videos: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
I do not use your data for newsletters, advertising or profiling, and I do not sell or hand it over to third parties.
Do you have to provide it?
No. However, without your name and email address I cannot reply to you.
How long I keep it
- Messages received: for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a working relationship follows, in which case the retention periods required by law (for example for tax purposes) apply.
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for server logs, usually a few weeks.
- Cookies: for the duration stated in the Cookie Policy.
Who can see the data
I process the data personally. The following may access it, only as far as needed for the service they provide and as data processors:
- the hosting provider of the site (Cloudways);
- the email provider through which I receive messages.
If you accept statistics or YouTube cookies, Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC receive data about your visit as independent controllers, under their privacy policy.
Transfers outside the European Union
I do not transfer your data outside the European Union. If you accept statistics or YouTube videos, Google may transfer data to the United States: Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found adequate.
Your rights
At any time you can ask me to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). If you consented to analytics or YouTube cookies you can withdraw consent from “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page; withdrawal does not affect what was done before.

If you believe the processing breaches data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
