How I work
Every lesson begins with the body and the structures directly involved in voice production, developing awareness and freedom in vocal emission and building a healthy technique that does not place unnecessary strain on the throat. Breathing work is combined with vocal exercises tailored each time to the individual student and to the demands of the piece being studied. Technique and repertoire develop together, leading to interpretation: the moment when everything we have worked on takes shape in the music. It is important to me that lessons are also a source of enjoyment and personal satisfaction, whatever the goal may be: professional, educational, or simply the pleasure of singing.
Who the lessons are for
The lessons are open to anyone who wants to discover and develop their voice, in both classical and contemporary singing. I work with people who already have a musical background and with those approaching singing for the first time, with those who can read a score and those who sing by instinct. My role is to find the most effective way of communicating with each student, so that instructions and sensations become concrete, practical tools. Every lesson should leave something behind: one more small “building block” of knowledge on which to build the next stage of the journey.
The atmosphere of the lesson matters greatly to me as well. I teach with kindness, respect and attention to the person in front of me, creating a relaxed environment where there is also room for lightness and spontaneity. I ask for the same respect from those who choose to study with me.
